The Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC) is pleased to announce Version 2 of the IEP Checklist iPhone app. The IEP is an Individualized Education Program designed to support the educational needs of school aged students with disabilities. The IEP Checklist App helps parents of students with special needs become better-informed advocates by making IEP information easier to access. Version 2 has active links to the relevant language in the federal regulations; allows users to record the IEP meeting or record notes; and has the capacity to print out notes and click on a checklist as requested items are discussed.

Lafayette Traffic pulls in the latest information on potential delays from lafayette911.org , a Lafayette Parish Communication District-operated site. Traffic incidents are displayed seamlessly in the application, and tapping one will show a map with the general location of the accident.

Lafayette Traffic also displays images from cameras located at more than 40 intersections around the city. Cameras can be chosen from a list of roads, or selected on a map that displays cameras near your current location. Camera images are updated every automatically every four seconds, allowing you to get an idea of how well traffic is flowing.
